Bellini's wine-cellar resides in Rufina, a Tuscan village, 28 Km to the east of the Florence, it lies along the river Sieve and it is surrounded by the hill of Pomino, Monte Fiesole and Acone. Rufina produce some of the best wine Chianti. The hill course of the marly territory and its physical-chemical composition give particular kinds of grapes such as Sangiovese and Malvasia, Trebbiano that turn in to delicious Tuscan wine, with a wise art that has been handed down from generation to generation.

The friars of Poggiolino were the first to understand the quality of Rufina's vineyards and to build cellars for the wine-aging process. Since then the name of Rufina and its wine have become famous. At 20th Century some producers imported into Italy and into America, in small characteristic wine-barrels.
Althought it mantains the old craft it acquires in addition to its own products, Chianti wine and Tuscan wine from the best farms of that country. It joined with the first founders, the Consorzio Chianti Putto, born in 1927 in order ti safeguard the genuiness of Chianti from any possible imitation. It has always preferred the high quality wine has lost its interest in common wines of low value and of wide market.
